Job Responsibilities:
∎ Promote best practice in the development of information systems
∎ Evaluate user needs and system functionality and ensure that ICT facilities meet these needs
∎ Plan, develop and implement the ICT budget, obtain competitive price from suppliers, to ensure cost effectiveness
∎ Accomplish IT equipment inventory, audit the systems and assess their outcome
∎ Ensures smooth running of all ICT systems, including Electronic Medical Record (EMR), anti-virus software, print services and email provision at all SHN offices
∎ Manage crisis, across SHN network which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
∎ Plan and maintain the core IT systems of SHN on regular basis
∎ Working with the HR and OD department, Identify IT related training needs and develop a training Calendar both for the home and field offices, design curricula and implement training plans
∎ Accomplishes information technology staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
∎ Maintains organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies.
∎ Directs technological research by studying organization goals, strategies, practices, and user projects.
∎ Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments and data center.
∎ Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented.
∎ Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
∎ Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
∎ Accomplishes financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action.
∎ Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
∎ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
∎ Communicate vendor regarding different types of IT products and service issue
∎ Carry out other functions when advised by the supervisor or the CEO
Additional Requirements:
∎ Maximum 8-10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure.
∎ Master's degree in a relevant field required. Computer Science & Engineering or ICT is preferable.
∎ Solid understanding of Core Network, Establish & Management of Data Center, Remote connectivity, VPN
∎ Certified Certification on Linux, Cisco and Microsoft System Engineer is preferable
∎ Working experience with Microsoft Windows Server various features (Active Directory Domain Services, DNS and File Server etc.
∎ Technical Management, Technical Understanding, Analyzing Information, Informing Others, Staffing, Problem Solving, Developing Budgets, Coordination, Strategic Planning, Quality Management
∎ Experience in health service delivery preferred.
∎ Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in verbal and written Bangla and English, lead presentations, training courses, and meetings
∎ Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
∎ Willingness to travel extensively
