Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters/Bachelor degree in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Science & Information Technology from reputed public/private university preferably from BUET/DUET/CUET/KUET/RUET with at least CGPA 3.00 and above.
∎ Candidates having any Third Class/Division/Equivalent GPA/CGPA need not apply.
∎ Business related qualification will be an added advantage.

Job Context:
∎ Islamic Finance and Investment Limited (IFIL), a financial institution based on Islamic Shariah, has the following vacancy for immediate employment. Candidates who are industrious, sincere with good manner & etiquette and interested to work in the overall leadership functions of Information Technology with career oriented may apply for the position.
∎ Name of Position : Head of Information Technology
∎ Job Grade : Preferably FAVP to VP, however job grade will be decided on the basis of experience and competency of the selected candidate.
∎ Category of Emplacement : Permanent & Full-time
∎ Job Location : Head Office, Dhaka
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing roles and functions of IT Department including direct supervision of its employees.
∎ Monitoring & ensuring CBS activities.
∎ Ensuring strategic capacity planning.
∎ Coordinating IT activities to ensure data availability and network services.
∎ Identifying security vulnerabilities and eliminating them with strategic solutions that increase data security
∎ Directing and supporting the implementation of new software and hardware
∎ Identifying and recommending new technology solutions
∎ Reporting to the appropriate authority (Regulators and Management) as per their requirements.
∎ Monitoring the works on Hardware, Software, Network troubleshooting and Maintenance.
∎ To maintain proper liaison with IT Software supplier.
∎ Any other work assigned by the Senior Management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 10 years practical experience in the relevant field, preferably in the Bank / NBFI.
∎ Sound knowledge in financial calculation method as well as database management system.
∎ Have proper knowledge of hardware, software and storage including IT Security.
∎ Have capacity to control, monitor and supervise the IT Department including good interpersonal skill.
∎ Good written & verbal communication skills in both English & Bangla.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Problem solving mindset.
∎ Have good leadership skills.
