Job Context:
∎ A leading private bank with huge branch network all over Bangladesh is looking for Head of Digital Financial Services.
∎ Job Summary:
∎ Develop and grow Digital Financial Services (DFS) including Mobile Financial Services (MFS) of the Bank.
∎ Realize returns from credible and relevant market offerings through alliances, new products, partnerships and channels
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Own and drive MFS/DFS i.e. own the products and customer pipelines for mobile banking, payments/commerce, insurance and micro finance solution
∎ Review and provide input in the development of propositions and business cases for all up-to-date innovations in MFS/DFS
∎ Keep abreast of international and local context, competition, and complementary services with keen eye on new trends in the supply side to ensure that our services remain relevant and profitable.
∎ Establish and manage strategic alliances/partnerships with key stakeholders, relevant government/ regulatory bodies in proposition/service development or in the advancement of financial inclusion with MFS/DFS as a profitable enabler
∎ Develop Business plan and coordinate the development of the service roadmap and strategy for MFS/DFS
∎ Market deployment of mobile banking, payments/commerce, as well as any new opportunities discovered
∎ Manage the strategic framework for partners / vendors/ enablers / joint ventures integration with capabilities to sustain competitive advantages
∎ Set up the strategy to manage any new mobile financial service opportunities
∎ Review the unit's activities Continuously, make recommendations for improvement and implement the approved initiatives to ensure the enhanced performance of the team
∎ Execute ATL (Above the Line) and BTL (Below the Line) marketing strategies to effectively run the mobile wallet in the market
∎ Monitor product performance results, trends and undertake corrective actions where required
∎ Manage the possible risks by ensuring regulatory imperatives, internal control and compliance; operational continuity; environmental and social responsibility in execution; fraud detection and management
∎ Develop full-blown business and marketing plans to capture untapped market and optimize the current market available
Additional Requirements:
∎ A minimum of 15 years' of relevant experience out of which at least 05 years' experience of managing and leading a cross-functional team towards success in relevant industries.
∎ Soft Skills Like- Leadership, Marketing, Flexibility, Developing Talents, Relationship Building, Initiator, Team Work, Team Management.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good command in English.
