Job Context:
∎ Robintex Group is a renowned RMG company in Bangladesh. It is a joint venture of Bangladesh - Germany, located at Vulta, Narayanganj, Bangladesh. The company is looking for a dynamic professional as the Head of Cutting Department.
∎ Job Location : Factory site
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure all cutting meet the standard and specifications, cut panels are perfect to approved artwork.
∎ Monitor and guide everyone in the team for optimal utilization.
∎ Follow quality parameters of cutting processes.
∎ Before cutting ensure about maintaining color, shades and GSM etc in the cut panels.
∎ Maintain records of order booking sheets.
∎ Must know about the operation and production of auto-spreading and auto-cutting machines and make optimal utilization of those.
∎ Proficient to make cutting plan and ensure uninterrupted inputs in the sewing line according to the shipment schedule.
∎ Maintain daily working efficiency/productivity as per target and cut plan.
∎ Prepare fabrics reconciliation reports and maintain records.
∎ Implement Cutting Policy, Plan, Manual and SOP and suggest any improvement.
∎ Make sure the work instruction for cut panel inspection and replacement procedures are understood by all concerned. Also maintain and monitor appropriate work flow charts, keep these clearly visible at work stations.
∎ Maintain communication with other departments as a routine.
∎ Attend PP meeting of each style/order and act/plan accordingly.
∎ Be able to face technical/QMS/Quality audits and supply necessary proof/records to the auditors and execute CAP (Corrective Action Plan).
∎ Capable to understand the technical instructions from the buyer and act upon.
∎ Provide leadership in enhancing the efficiency and quality in cutting department.
∎ Improve technique for economic and optimum utilization of fabric in consumption, savings/ wastage.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Considerable practical experience in RMG.
Salary: Tk. 80000 (Monthly)
