Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: PGD in compliance Management
∎ Training/Trade Course: Labor Law

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Factory Compliance, Legal Compliance/ Code of Conduct, Social Audit, Social Compliance and Sustainability.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain liaison with Buyers, Compliance Auditor/Third Party Auditors/Compliance, RSC office and factory management.
∎ Follow up and assist on RSC Audit to rectify the noncompliance issues.
∎ Prepare the CAP against buyer’s audit report with the help of Business unit HR team and send that CAP to the auditors and buyers and doing continuous follow up, encourage factories Management to complete the CAP.
∎ Develop Compliance policy, procedures & guidelines in compliance with local laws & regulations and ensure its implementations.
∎ Follow up & monitor audit reports as per CAP and encourage factories Management to complete the CAP.
∎ Follow & up-date the SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP, buyer portal website.
∎ Discuss and negotiate with Management regarding non-compliance found in the Internal/External Social Compliance Audit especially where financial involvement is necessary.
∎ Coordinate/Interact with Business Units management/ personnel to prepare them for compliance audits and make them aware on maintaining better compliance standards.
∎ To check and supervise the final settlement of concern employees and regular salary for current employees, personal file and data.
∎ Responsible for the early identification of potential problems by conducting the per-audit before the external audit (1st or 3rd party) and timely resolution through the implementation of appropriate course of action.
∎ Legal license check and inform to concern dept. for renewal.
∎ Develop and implement company policies and regulations.
∎ Oversee all business operations relating to compliance including policies, investments, and procedures.
∎ Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
∎ Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements.
∎ Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risk or common issues.
∎ Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies.
∎ Perform periodic audits on company procedures and processes.
∎ Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues.
∎ Supervise compliance officers and team.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 38 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicant should have knowledge on Human Resource Management, BLL- 2006, Bangladesh Labor Rules 2015 and other industrial and environmental laws, safety rules and regulations.

Salary: Negotiable
