Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ . Relevant education in TQM and Quality Assurance.

∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Must have experience of workings in similar position for at least 5 (five) years in any 100% export oriented large apparel industry especially in the field of all categories of woven garments (denim and non-denim), quality control/audit, and must have excellent command on printing, EMB and washing.
∎ Preferably working experience as a certified QA from a reputed brand.
∎ Must have thorough knowledge about garment measurement and patterns, skills in examining and establishing proper quality and operational procedure.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensuring product safety, quality and product integrity in all processes of the production as well as of the department of the industry/group.
∎ To understand and follow the quality SOP in each step of the process of production.
∎ To ensure quality of products manufactured from fit & PP sample stage to final inspection and ensure customer satisfaction.
∎ To co-ordinate with QAM and QA regarding quality, fit and measurements and ensure smooth flow of production.
∎ To check and confirm & re-confirm accuracy of samples prior to dispatch to office / customer tech to ensure first time approval.
∎ To check and ensure shrinkage / Pattern grouping, adjustments and to disseminate decision to the production.
∎ To have an overview on all aspects of washing required & knowledge about fabric inspection by the customer.
∎ To handle cutting, print, embroidery, production, finishing issues and to provide solutions and options to ease production.
∎ To deal with IQA/ Quality auditors and technicians necessary for quality, measurement and technical related issues and to ensure delivery to the customers' fullest satisfaction.
∎ To conduct pre finals and packaging audits to ensure 100% final inspections pass rate.
∎ To determine, agree and ensure in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications.
∎ To ensure that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level.
∎ To work with operating staff to ensure that established procedures, standards, systems and procedures are always in place.
∎ To maintain and improve quality SOP for measuring Quality across all product categories and across all brands across all buyers.
∎ To have the ability to develop of specific Quality Control policies and standards for all product categories.
∎ To ensure execution of all Quality standards and practices.
∎ To track progress on quality standard(s) by Buyers and by Brands.
∎ To plan and manage quality department activities in accordance with agreed upon budgets, timelines and goals.
∎ To have good skill on communication in English.
∎ To have standard Inspection performance, Internal Audit performance and to ensure accountability.
∎ To perform any other task/job assigned by the Management.
∎ To ensure 100% quality from needle point.
∎ Any other responsibility assigned by the Management as per company requirement(s).
