• Strong understanding of garment product development, sourcing, and fashion trends.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Conduct market research and analyze fashion trends to identify new product opportunities.

• Develop innovative concepts and product ideas based on customer requirements and market demand.

• Lead, mentor, and manage the Design & Development team to achieve departmental goals.

• Communicate directly with customers/buyers regarding product development, design concepts, approvals, and feedback.

• Manage development projects and ensure all timelines and critical paths are achieved.

• Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and other raw materials according to customer specifications and cost targets.

• Coordinate with Merchandising, Sourcing, Production, and Quality teams to ensure smooth product development processes.

• Monitor sample development activities and ensure product quality and design integrity.

• Prepare presentations, development reports, and product proposals for internal and external stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product design and development processes.
