Responsibilities & Context:
Creative concepts into technical specifications.
Collaborate closely with the design, merchandising, and production teams to understand design requirements and ensure feasibility for manufacturing.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of CAD patterns, stitches, and garment constructions.
Ensure all CAD designs comply with technical specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all CAD files, design revisions, and technical specifications.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in CAD technology and knitwear design.
Participate in sample development and fitting sessions, providing expert input from a technical design perspective.
Manage the allocation of tasks within the CAD team, ensuring balanced workloads and adherence to project deadlines.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of product development processes and overall design efficiency.
