Responsibilities & Context:

A **100% Export-Oriented Knit Garments Manufacturing Company** is looking for an experienced and result-oriented professional for the position of **Factory Manager**.

**Candidate Profile**

We are looking for a **hands-on Factory Manager** who can independently manage factory operations, lead cross-functional teams, solve production bottlenecks, improve efficiency and productivity, control manufacturing costs, and ensure **quality and on-time delivery**.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Lead and manage overall **factory production and manufacturing operations** to achieve daily, monthly and shipment targets.

* Develop and implement **production plans, capacity plans and manpower requirements** in coordination with PPC, merchandising and planning teams.

* Ensure optimum **line balancing, work study, SMV implementation and production efficiency** across all sewing lines.

* Monitor **line-wise and factory-wide productivity, efficiency, DHU, quality, output and target achievement**.

* Identify production bottlenecks and implement effective **corrective and preventive actions** to improve operational performance.

* Drive **Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen and productivity improvement initiatives**.

* Optimise **manpower, machine capacity, working hours and production resources** to maximise factory efficiency.

* Work closely with **IE, Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, HR, Compliance and Merchandising teams** to ensure smooth factory operations.

* Control and reduce **production costs, overtime, wastage, rework, idle time and operational losses**.

* Ensure compliance with **buyer requirements, quality standards, social compliance, safety and company policies**.

* Monitor production performance through **KPI dashboards, daily production meetings and management reports**.

* Analyse factory performance and provide management with **MIS, productivity, capacity, cost and performance reports**.

* Develop and mentor production and operational teams to build a **high-performance and accountable workforce**.

* Ensure timely execution of production plans while maintaining required **quality, efficiency, cost and delivery standards**.

* Take ownership of overall factory performance and continuously identify opportunities for **operational excellence and profitability improvement**.
