Job Context:
We are seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Central Quality Head / GM – Quality Assurance to lead and strengthen our centralized quality management system across multiple garment manufacturing units. The role is responsible for ensuring end-to-end product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement in alignment with customer requirements and global standards.
This role is responsible for ensuring full alignment with global retailer compliance standards (Primark, NEXT, H&M or equivalent), customer technical requirements, and applicable social & product compliance frameworks, ensuring safe, legal, and quality-assured products from raw material to final shipment.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Execution of Quality Requirements in Production Processes
· Develop and implement company-wide quality standards, procedures, and quality control systems.
· Ensure buyer requirements, technical specifications, and quality standards are effectively incorporated into all production processes.
· Oversee material compliance, Pre-Production Meetings (PPM), Trial Runs, Pilot Runs, and critical quality checkpoints.
· Monitor process quality performance through regular audits and factory visits.
· Lead root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) are implemented.
· Coordinate with Merchandising, Technical, Production, and Factory Management teams to achieve quality objectives.
· Build and strengthen the competency of quality teams through training, coaching, and performance management.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, rework, and quality-related risks.
2. Monitoring of Product Quality Requirements
· Establish and maintain an effective product quality monitoring system across all factories.
· Oversee inline, pre-final, and Final AQL inspection activities to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
· Monitor product quality performance, defect trends, customer complaints, and quality KPIs.
· Ensure compliance with buyer standards, product specifications, testing requirements, and shipment quality criteria.
· Lead investigations of customer claims and quality issues, ensuring timely resolution and preventive actions.
· Conduct periodic quality audits and factory evaluations to assess compliance and performance.
· Provide regular quality performance reports and recommendations to senior management.
· Exercise authority to escalate critical quality concerns and recommend shipment hold or corrective actions when required.
