Job Responsibilities:
∎ Grant Management System:
∎ Actively contribute to the design, launch, roll out and embedding of the Grant Management System across BRAC International and BRAC Bangladesh
∎ Serve as co-lead trainer for the GMS system during roll-out and embedding phases
∎ Work as part of a team to integrate the GMS with other BRAC systems (CRM, financial systems)
∎ Manage all necessary updates/enhancements to GMS system on a regular schedule (annually)
∎ Act as organizational resident expert on system - troubleshooting desk
∎ Manage a community of GMS super-users in each country, decide on SOW for super-users and work to ensure global fidelity to system use.
∎ Dashboards:
∎ Maintain and regularly update the dashboard of the grant acquisition performance of the organization ensuring consistency, currency, and quality of the data in the pipeline.
∎ Analyse pipeline data and trends and prepare regular reports on the pipeline and fundraising performance for the senior leadership and governing body on key strategic priority areas.
∎ Work with Finance to extract necessary quarterly information for inputting into Portfolio Health Dashboard
∎ Support Director with analyzing data and identifying trends
∎ Support Director with compiling and implementing reporting timeliness and quality baseline, KPIs and monitoring system
∎ Knowledge Management:
∎ Decide on and build a central Grant Management intranet site to house all policies and procedures that are easily accessible to staff all around the world
∎ Maintain the intranet site by controlling content, updates
∎ Due Diligence of Downstream Partners:
∎ Support Head of Grants with embedding grant management procedures within Bangladesh Country Offices more generally and TBD by Head of Grants
∎ Specifically, as resident expert in due diligence tool, support programs to embed practice by accompanying teams on due diligence visits and participating in assessments
∎ Grant Management Surge Support:
∎ As needed, contribute to budget development and budget reviews for opportunities
∎ As needed, deploy to Country Offices to provide extraordinary grant management support
∎ Core Budget:
∎ Contribute to the development and management of the PRL team budget, regularly providing updates to PRL management
∎ Safeguarding:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5 years of relevant experience, especially on financial management and systems in the international development context
∎ 2 years experience in grant management and information systems.
∎ USAID Budgeting Course
∎ Advanced knowledge on using MS Excel
∎ Financial analysis, business planning
∎ Familiarity with IT systems, platforms
∎ Familiarity with specific donor budget templates (e.g. USAID, SDC) and relevant financial calculations
∎ Excellent command of English, written and spoken
∎ Demonstrated experience on technology platforms, knowledge management
∎ Proven ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
