Job Context:
∎ Soorty Textiles (BD) Ltd is a high quality Denim Garments manufacture in Comilla - EPZ. It is vertical setup of denim garment manufacturing company with Embroidery, Printing Laundry & ETP. We are certified for GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard)/OCS (Organic Content Standard)/LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)/BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)/SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit).
∎ Location: Comilla Export Processing Zone
∎ Reporting Authority: Head of Operations.
∎ Work Hours
∎ 8-hour work shift
∎ 8:00 am-5:00 pm and as per company policy
∎ Saturday to Thursdays
∎ Minimal amount of being "on-call"
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and services
∎ Figure out how to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiency
∎ Develop management control systems to make financial planning and cost analysis more efficient
∎ Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs
∎ Work with customers and management to develop standards for design and production
∎ Design control systems to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure that products meet quality standards
∎ Implementing innovations to reduce cost and increase productivity
∎ Responsible to drive the team to review the sample and make pre-production meeting and arrange all the other requirements such as folder requirement etc
∎ Monitor and keep records for daily basis efficiency , skill matrix & machine inventory
∎ Regulate and alter workflow schedules according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times to expedite production operations.
∎ Evaluate effects of product design changes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ At least 4 years proven experience as a IE Manager
∎ Efficiency in verbal and written English,
∎ Must be a team player and self-motivated
∎ problem-solving skills
∎ Ability to work to deadlines and within budgets
∎ Sri Lankans preferred
