∎ Job Location: BRAC Head Office

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and develop field data collection tools/apps/forms.
∎ Field data collection, monitoring, checking for errors and fixing incorrect, incomplete, duplicate data and correct those.
∎ Data processing, analysis, landscape detailing, producing maps and generating reports.
∎ Support baseline surveys including geospatial data collection tools, ensure quality of data, analyse data and prepare maps and reports.
∎ Facilitate and work with climate-vulnerable communities to prepare participatory social, economic, hazard, and wealth maps, etc.
∎ Support in preparing periodic and other reports on organizational climate outcome and output geo-indicators and assist other projects on mapping and geospatial data analysis.
∎ Review of literature and facilitate community in climate action planning.
∎ Conduct training sessions on mapping exercise for community, peer and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 03 years of working experience in the field of GIS and Remote Sensing.
∎ Expertise and Skill in Geospatial data analysis and interpretation & database software will be given preference.
∎ Competence in IT (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
∎ Working knowledge on Data analysis software's (SPSS/STATA/ R/ Python, Tableau, Microsoft power BI etc.)
∎ Good spoken and written skills both in Bangla and English.
