Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage and direct activities congenial to the productivity of the entire production unit of denim (dyeing, warping, weaving, finishing, production planning & control, PIS, QC & R&D).
∎ Ensure optimum utilization of man, machine & material to yield higher productivity.
∎ Analyze, control, and reduce cost and wastage effectively and efficiently.
∎ Must have leadership qualities.
∎ Establishing and maintaining identification and traceability requirement.
∎ Inspection test status, taking corrective and preventive action.
∎ Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of the finished product.
∎ Formulate and maintain quality control objectives and coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other department heads/managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
∎ Manage and direct activities congenial to the productivity of the production unit for garments by ensuring optimum utilization of men, machines, and materials to yield high productivity.
∎ Direct, through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
∎ Plan, promote, and organize training activities related to product quality and reliability.
∎ Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality.
∎ Strive to ensure the best possible QC practice and this is kept up to date with industry standards.
∎ The control production process in different stages.
∎ Analyze and control denim fault and take action in the process while deviation occurs.
∎ Handle urgent and critical situations.
∎ Follow up of the quality-related reports daily and ensure accurate report submission. Prepare a report on the raw-material quality statement.
∎ Ensure technical and pre-production meetings with production and quality teams for cost-effective productivity, quality, and working environment.
∎ Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs, and manage their career development.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Communication & Collaboration, Critical thinking & Problem solving, Leading people, Planning & Organizing, Adaptability.
∎ Fabric (denim) knowledge, technical knowledge (dyeing, warping, weaving, finishing, QC).
∎ Knowledge of QC process.
∎ Up to date knowledge on equipment/machinery.
∎ Computer Literacy.
