Responsibilities & Context:
∎ - Oversee and manage the entire production operations in the woven garments unit.- Develop and implement strategic production plans to meet company goals.- Ensure alignment of production activities with business objectives and delivery schedules.2. *Industrial Engineering (IE) Integration*:- Utilize industrial engineering principles to enhance production efficiency.- Conduct time and motion studies to streamline processes and increase productivity.- Implement lean manufacturing methodologies to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.3. *Quality Assurance*:- Establish and enforce quality standards across all production processes.- Collaborate with the quality control team to resolve quality issues promptly.- Ensure adherence to industry standards and customer specifications for all products.4. *Leadership and Team Development*:- Lead and mentor the production management team and staff.- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and teamwork.5. *Cost and Budget Management*:- Oversee the production budget and manage production costs effectively.- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality.- Monitor financial performance and ensure cost-efficiency in production operations.6. *Inventory and Supply Chain Management*:- Ensure optimal inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.- Implement effective inventory control systems to minimize wastage and overstocking.- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams for timely material availability.7. *Process Improvement and Innovation*:- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead their implementation.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.- Encourage innovation and continuous improvement in production processes.
