Responsibilities & Context:
We are seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and proactive Merchandiser to manage product sourcing, buyer communication, order execution, and production follow-up. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with buyers, suppliers, and factories.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with buyers regarding orders, samples, and requirements
Source materials and negotiate with suppliers
Prepare costing, quotations, and product development samples
Follow up on production planning and shipment schedules
Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with standards
Coordinate with factory, production, and logistics teams
Maintain order documentation and reports
Handle customer queries and ensure client satisfaction
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Textile, Apparel Merchandising, Business, or related field
1–3 years of experience in merchandising (Freshers may apply for junior position)
Good communication skills in English and Bangla
Strong negotiation and coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Email)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Additional Skills (Preferred)
Knowledge of garment/textile production processes
Experience working with international buyers
Problem-solving and time management skills
