We are seeking a compatible General Manager / Dyeing & Finishing (Fabric) who will work for our Knit Garment factory, J.M. Fabrics Limited at Rajendrapur, Gazipur and who meets the following Criteria:

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management

• Plan, coordinate, and control dyeing and finishing operations to meet production targets.
• Monitor workflow, machine utilization, and labor productivity.
• Implement production schedules and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Preparing production and quality reports, analyzing performance data, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement corrective actions for defects or customer complaints.
• Ensure finished fabric delivery as per T&A.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure products meet quality specifications and standards (e.g., color fastness, shrinkage, hand feel).
• Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement practices.

Process Optimization

• Evaluate and improve dyeing and finishing processes for better efficiency, reduced costs, and environmental compliance.
• Introduce new technologies, chemicals, and process techniques to enhance performance.

Team Leadership

• Manage and motivate production teams, supervisors, and technical staff.
• Plan manpower requirements and oversee training and development.
• Enforce discipline, safety standards, and company policies.

Cost & Inventory Control

• Monitor and control raw material and chemical consumption.
• Reduce wastage and improve yields.
• Work with procurement and inventory departments for effective material management.

Compliance & Sustainability

• Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations (e.g., effluent treatment, chemical handling).
• Implement sustainable dyeing practices and waste management protocols.
