Castech Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd. - a leading Construction Chemical Company in Bangladesh - is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional for the position of General Manager.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced business leader who can take charge of our overall operations, drive business growth, and lead the company towards sustained profitability in the competitive construction chemicals market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage overall business operations of the company
Develop, create, and execute comprehensive sales targets and strategies
Drive the company towards a profit-making situation through effective business planning and execution
Lead sales, marketing, operations, and administrative functions
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders
Develop and implement business development strategies to expand market presence
Ensure operational efficiency and cost optimization
Lead, mentor, and manage teams across all departments
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business. MBA degree from a recognized institution is an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in the Construction Industry
Proven experience in Concrete Ready-Mix sector
Demonstrated track record in handling overall business management
Experience in construction chemical industry will be considered an added advantage
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving profitability
Strong financial acumen and business analysis skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
