A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in proposal writing and fundraising for non-profit organizations.
Proven experience in developing successful grant proposals is essential.
Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Strong research, analytical, and budgeting skills.
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities & Context:
The Disable Development and Educational Foundation (DDEF) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to the empowerment of persons with disabilities, destitute women, children, and youth in Bangladesh. Our work spans across health, education, livelihood support, humanitarian aid (including for Rohingya refugees), and climate resilience. To expand our impactful programs, we are seeking two dynamic, passionate, and results-oriented professionals to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, developing high-quality project proposals, and securing grants from national and international donors to support DDEF’s mission. This is a target-driven role for a proactive and strategic individual.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential funding opportunities from institutional donors, foundations, and corporate entities.
Develop and write compelling, high-quality concept notes, project proposals, and grant applications in English.
Prepare detailed budgets and logical frameworks for proposals.
Maintain a comprehensive donor database and build strong relationships with funding partners.
Achieve a minimum monthly target of securing at least one (1) new fund/grant for the organization.
Assist in preparing reports for donors as required.
