Experience:

• Masters

• Master`s degree in any discipline, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

• At least 1 year

• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in communications, public relations, or sponsorship management, preferably within the NGO sector.

• Excellent storytelling, content creation, and digital communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.

• Proficiency in using social media platforms for professional communication.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English.

• Experience in managing child sponsorship or similar programs will be an advantage.

Job Summary:

The Communication Officer (Sponsorship) will focus on building and managing relationships with individual and corporate sponsors. The role involves creating compelling communication materials and campaigns to attract sponsorship for DDEF’s programs, such as our special school for children with disabilities and our assistive device distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship strategy to attract individual and corporate donors.

• Create engaging content (stories, photos, videos, reports) for websites, social media, and newsletters to showcase the impact of DDEF’s work.

• Manage communication with existing and potential sponsors, providing regular updates and reports.

• Organize fundraising events and campaigns to generate support.

• Identify and secure sponsorship for specific needs (e.g., sponsoring a child`s education, funding a wheelchair, or supporting a surgery).

• Work towards achieving monthly sponsorship and fundraising targets.

• Probation Period: The first four (4) months will be considered a probationary period. Confirmation will be subject to satisfactory performance.

• Travel: The roles require a willingness to work and travel frequently between Dhaka, Barishal, Cox`s Bazar, and Barguna.
