Experience:
Educational Qalification: Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Commerce/Business
Administration (B.Com/M.Com or BBA/MBA), with a major in Accounting or Finance or Management.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in accounting, preferably within a microfinance institution (MFI) or an NGO managing project accounts.
Technical Skills:
Strong practical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and the ability to independently type and manage accounts on a computer. Experience with accounting software is a plus.

Must be hard-working, diligent, and have a high level of integrity.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.

The Disable Development and Educational Foundation (DDEF) is a prominent non-profi organization dedicated to the empowerment of persons with disabilities, destitute women, children. and youth in Bangladesh. Our work encompasses health, education, livelihood support, microcredit humanitarian aid (including for Rohingya refugees), and climate resilience. To ensure the transparent and efficient management of our growing portfolio of development projects, we are seeking a diligent and skilled professional to join our team.

Job Location: Barguna/ Dhaka / Barishal / Cox`s Bazar/Gazipur (with field visits as required)

Job Summary: The Accounts Cum Admin Officer will be responsible for the accurate
maintenance of financial records for both our microcredit program and donor-funded projects. This role is critical for ensuring financial transparency, compliance, and the effective use of funds. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working individual with strong accounting skills and a commitment to our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Record Keeping: Accurately maintain and update all books of accounts,
ledgers, and financial records for both microcredit operations and various donor-funded projects using accounting software MS Word and MS Excel.
Project & Microcredit Accounting: Manage day-to-day financial transactions, prepare vouchers, process payments, and ensure proper documentation for all expenditures.
Fund Management Support: Actively participate in resource mobilization by assisting in securing at least one (1) FDR fund or institutional loan per month to support the microcredit program.
Field Operations: Must have the willingness and ability to conduct field visits for loan disbursement, recovery, and financial monitoring as required by the organization.
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and donors.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the office, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with organizational policies, donor requirements, and national regulations.
Salary: BDT 12,000-15,000 per month (consolidated), based on experience and qualifications.
Probation Period: The first four (4) months will be considered a probationary period.
Confirmation will be subject to satisfactory performance.
Travel: The role requires a willingness to work and travel frequently within Dhaka, Barishal, Cox`s Bazar or any place in Bangladesh.
