Job Context:
∎ Genweb2 Limited is looking for Software Developers(JAVA) specializing in building large scalable web based platform using Open Source technologies. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, good communication skills (spoken and written English is required), a collaborative mindset, the capacity to learn new skills, and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment.
∎ We are looking for self starters who are motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and contribute with minimal direction. Attitude is as important as aptitude and specific technical skills.
∎ Developers will work with team members in multiple locations including the US and as such, will be required/expected to be flexible with work hours, communication methods (conference calls, video chat, email etc.) and travel, if practical.
∎ Developers will work on the existing sources to modify based on client requirements
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have strong grip on core Java.
∎ Must have working experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC with annotations. Having experience with XML configuration will be considered as an added plus.
∎ Writing HQL and SQL
∎ Using JPA, Hibernate, MyBatis etc experience will be considered as big plus
∎ Strong base in Javascript and library like JQuery. Working knowledge on latest front-end technology like Angular will be highly appreciated.
∎ Using Git or Mercurials as source control is a must
∎ Using OOP, Design Patterns and Data Structures. Knowledge about web app scalability without degrading the performance are very good to have.
∎ Applying industry standard best practices
∎ Working experience with message queues like RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ etc
∎ Familiarity with CI tool like Jenkins will be a plus
∎ Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo will be considered as added plus
Salary: Negotiable
