Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for working for an Open-Source System where the candidate -
∎ Must have an attitude to learn new things
∎ Knowledge of PostgreSQL is required
∎ Knowledge of Node.js and React is desirable
∎ Knowledge of DHIS2 is very much preferable
∎ Advanced knowledge in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Ajax, JSON and jQuery are mandatory
∎ Must have skill on HTML5, CSS3
∎ Must have programming knowledge on Java
∎ Must have experience in Web API, REST API and Atom Feed
∎ Must have ability to communicate proactively in English within the team and with the clients
∎ Having experience in using BI tools and visualization tools is preferable
∎ Preferably skilled in Java frameworks and tools, such as the Spring Framework, Hibernate, Struts2, Maven, and JUnit
∎ Knowledge on open standards for medical data exchange including FHIR, LOINC and IXF will be considered as added benefit
Additional Requirements:
∎ Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
∎ Create and maintain software documentation
∎ Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
∎ Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS
∎ A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
∎ Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development
∎ Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
