Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors in Forestry or Environmental Science from any recognised University

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure reforestation following guidelines of plantation techniques in the selected areas
∎ Ensure maintenance of existing plantation/ vegetation efforts so that project meets its ultimate goals
∎ Provide technical advice and guidance to the Forestry Assistant for proper maintenance and care of the existing plantation/vegetation effort
∎ Ensure project related financial transactions to the beneficiaries are done properly with transparency and related data are kept up to date
∎ Ensure collection of plantation data and prepare project report
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience in Forestry/ Agriculture is required
∎ Commitment to an understanding of BRAC core values and principles
∎ Demonstrated competency to work independently with minimum supervision
∎ Have good writing, reporting, and analytical skills
∎ Have good knowledge and skill in Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel)
∎ Self-motivated, goal/ result-orientated
