∎ Master's in food security and nutrition, Food Science and Technology, Nutrition Sensitive Agriculture, or a related field from a recognized institution. (Candidates with a PhD are strongly encouraged to apply)

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in developing/adapting implementation manual, training modules, user guides, and training and coaching of volunteers, agricultural extension staff.
∎ Proven experience working on World Bank, international NGO, or government-funded development projects, especially those targeting poverty alleviation, nutrition, or climate resilience will be considered an asset.
∎ Experience in designing and implementing training programs, capacity-building initiatives, and community-based livestock projects in rural or low-resource settings.
∎ Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects with strict timelines, ideally within international development.
∎ Proven ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, NGOs, and donors.
∎ Experience conducting capacity-building sessions, especially for field staff and local organizations in food security and nutrition.
∎ Familiarity with climate-smart agriculture practices and strategies to support household adaptation to climate change.
∎ Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and coordinate with finance, logistics, and operations teams to support project goals.
∎ Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to work effectively in diverse community settings.
∎ Written and oral communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Proven experience in designing and implementing food security and nutrition improvement programs.
∎ Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the design, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition-sensitive agriculture and food security programs.
∎ Practical knowledge on global policy developments in agriculture and food security to identify effective, evidence-based interventions addressing the needs and challenges of vulnerable women and children in Bangladesh.
∎ Lead the development and delivery of nutrition education initiatives and nutrition-sensitive agriculture training programs, aligned with World Bank/ADB/International donor funding requirements.
∎ Monitor and evaluate program performance using data-driven insights, and continuously improve initiatives based on lessons learned, in accordance with World Bank evaluation frameworks.
∎ Document best practices, success stories, and recommendations to inform future program design and share knowledge with the external partners.

∎ Collaborate with local and international partners to align project activities with global and national food security policies and practices.
