  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed public or private university.

  • Diploma in Automobile Engineering will add extra value.

  • 4 to 7 years of work experience in Fleet Administration.

  • Training on “Defensive Driving”

  • Good Communication Skill

  • Proactive in Nature.

  • Ability to work in tight schedule.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Plan and control vehicle movement; assign duties to Drivers and Co-drivers.

  • Develop a routine maintenance schedule for all vehicles and maintain proper documentation of maintenance costs.

  • Ensure preventive maintenance of all vehicles to minimize downtime and avoid unexpected breakdowns.

  • Conduct daily routine checkups of all vehicles as per the checklist and monitor repair work.

  • Check vehicle logbooks, movement times, trip costs, and fuel quantities; analyze data to reduce operational costs.

  • Ensure all Drivers and Co-drivers are performing effectively to support smooth operations.

  • Enter trip information into the VDRA system and prepare monthly VDRA reports.

  • Verify fuel bills, maintenance bills, route costs, and monitor overall vehicle expenditures.

  • Check all regulatory documents, including vehicle papers and driving licenses, ensuring they are up to date.

  • Monitor vehicle location, start/stop times, and speed using the Vehicle Tracking System (VTS).

  • Maintain maximum KMPL (Kilometers Per Liter) for road tankers, trailers, trucks, and pickups.

  • Organize in-house training programs for fleet crews to enhance skills and promote safe driving practices.

  • Plan, monitor, and report on vendor vehicle movements.

  • Manage trucks and pickups for B2B distribution across various delivery points.

  • Submit spare parts requisitions to the warehouse and return damaged parts with proper documentation.

  • Prepare move orders for spare parts using the Oracle system and submit them to the warehouse.

  • Prepare spare parts demand forecasts, MIS reports, and other operational reports as required by management.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and efficient distribution.
