Job Summary – Supervisor, Operation & Safety

We are looking for a responsible Supervisor – Operation & Safety to oversee inbound and outbound operations at the Distribution Center (DC) while ensuring safety and cleaning compliance. The role includes monitoring daily operations, maintaining discipline and SOP compliance, coordinating with relevant teams, and ensuring smooth and safe operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations (Inbound & Outbound)

• Follow authorized inbound and outbound standard operating procedures (SOP).

• Ensure inbound and outbound stocks are carefully inspected and verified in terms of SKU accuracy, batch accuracy, and quantity accuracy before put-away or dispatch.

• Coordinate with transport supervisors to ensure dispatch goods are loaded into the correct vehicles assigned to the respective distributors and that vehicle size matches the shipment plan.

• Guide and motivate pickers, loaders, unloaders, and MHE operators to ensure accurate picking and proper put-away from the correct bin locations to maintain inventory accuracy.

• Participate in cycle counts and pick phase counts as per management guidelines and timelines.

• Support in resolving inventory discrepancies under the guidance of the DC Incharge.

• Prepare inbound and outbound top sheets and maintain proper documentation and records.

• Ensure all operational staff follow discipline, operational procedures, and company guidelines.

• Monitor and work towards achieving operational KPIs and DOR KPIs.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness within the DC.

• Identify training needs of operational staff and coordinate with management for necessary training arrangements.

• Maintain proper communication with the DC team and escalate operational issues to NBL or AIBL management when required.

• Ensure punctuality, attendance, and operational discipline are maintained.

Safety & Cleaning Compliance

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company safety guidelines.

• Maintain and monitor MHE checklists, fire extinguisher checklists, electrical activity checklists, and rack inspection records.

• Ensure proper PPE usage and maintenance among operational staff.

• Conduct Safety BFS, safety talks, and safety briefings, and maintain related documentation.

• Ensure warehouse housekeeping, cleaning standards, and canteen cleanliness are maintained.

• Perform any additional safety or compliance-related tasks assigned by management.
