Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum Bachelor from any recognized University and preference will be given to candidates who have additional training in Washing, Industrial Engineering, HR, mechanical or any other form of certifications related to the ready made garments industry.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Securing fire safety measures as per the direction of the management.
∎ Provide training to all workers/staff/employees/security/indirect production staff on fire safety, protection, fighting and first - aid on demonstration basis and to make the mission successful.
∎ Conduct regular/daily inspection of fire safety posts and sensitive and high risk areas of the factory (day/night).
∎ Ensuring all fire safety personnel are positioned in the right order and perform the duties as per planning.
∎ Identify the fire hazardous areas and take proper preventive measures on priority basis.
∎ Checking machine maintenance and fire related registers, books, logs, etc. correctly on a short schedule basis.
∎ Sensitive areas must be always under supervision.
∎ Maintain discipline in all production and non production areas to prevent any untoward fire incident.
∎ Daily monitor, review, test all types of fire prevention instruments.
∎ Must be able to operate panel board system of the fire alarm, smoke detector and complete hydrant system.
∎ Maintain and ensure safety in all production areas so that all evacuation areas are free of any obstacles.
∎ Conduct regular fire drills every 90 days.
∎ Conduct 1 night fire drill in a calendar year.
∎ Any other assignment related to health and safety as delegated by management.
∎ Maintain liaison with local fire service department on any fire related issue.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Must be a team player.
∎ Must have TOT (Training of Trainer) certification on fire safety training.
∎ Should have training and adequate knowledge in fire fighting, fire prevention, first aid and evacuation.
∎ Should be able to demonstrate good physical fitness.
∎ Should be able to lead a team to ensure maximum fire security of the plant.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure from time to time.
∎ Experience in the RMG sector will be given preference.
∎ Should have working knowledge of compliance requirements in terms of fire safety of renowned buyers.
∎ Computer literacy is a requirement and should be able to operate email, MS Word and MS Excel.
∎ Must have knowledge on RSC (Formerly ACCORD) and Nirapon (formerly Alliance) requirements on worker safety training.
∎ Experience Requirements: Minimum 7 years in ready made garment industry.
Salary:
∎ Negotiable subject to education, experience level and impression created during the interview.
