Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced and result-oriented Finishing Manager to lead and manage the finishing department of our woven garments factory. The candidate must be capable of handling high production volumes (approx. 30,000 pcs/day and 700,000 pcs/month) while ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Oversee the entire finishing process including trimming, thread cutting, ironing, washing coordination (if applicable), inspection, packing, and shipment readiness.

·       Ensure daily production targets (30,000 pcs/day) and monthly targets (7 lac pcs) are achieved efficiently.

·       Maintain high-quality standards as per buyer requirements and compliance guidelines.

·       Lead, supervise, and develop finishing team members including supervisors, line leaders, and workers.

·       Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to increase productivity.

·       Coordinate closely with Production, QA, and Merchandising teams to ensure smooth operations and on-time shipment.

·       Ensure proper implementation of SOPs, safety, and compliance standards in the finishing floor.

·       Control rejection, alteration, and rework levels to minimize cost and wastage.

·       Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and performance analysis.

·       Manage manpower planning and optimize resource utilization.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Additional Job Requirements:

·       Minimum 8+ years of experience in garments manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in finishing (woven garments preferred).

·       Strong knowledge of finishing operations, quality control, and production planning.

·       Proven experience in handling large-scale production volumes.

·       Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

·       Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·       Good communication and coordination skills.
