Experience:

• Bachelor/Honors

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO

• At least 03 years relevant experience on DRR activities    

• Strong critical and analytical thinking capabilities

• Basic online data collection literacy

• Respect on gender, PSEA, Safeguarding, code of conduct and cultural diversity

• Committed on response in any humanitarian emergency if necessary

• Able to operate virtual platform like Skype/Zoom/Team etc.

• Organize disaster management committee meeting at ward and union level

• Support to build capacity and technical support to union and ward DMC

• Organize and facilitate to community level awareness session on early warning and preparedness at greater ward level

• Facilitate to prepare household level disaster preparedness plan at assigned union

• Coordination and support provide to the community level disaster volunteer at ward level

• Support to organize simulation exercise in respective union level

• Organize and conduct meeting with cyclone shelter management committee and planning for readiness

• Support to organize World Environment Day/ IDDR Observance at union level

• Support to conduct different DRR different survey, assessment in field level when required. Actively participate, through sharing field experience in reviewing and finalizing different survey framework/questionnaires

• Liaison and support to organize trainings for CPP volunteers

• Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with the local community and local disaster management committee

• Plan, arrange and facilitate training and support sessions with the active participation of capacity building for DMCs at Union level

• Prepare and submit monthly activity plan, reports and case studies.
