- Good communication skills in both Bangla and English.

Position Overview:
The Field Facilitator is responsible for the field-level implementation of the ILO-supported project, “Reduction of Child Labour in Informal Ready-Made Garment (RMG) Sector at Keraniganj Upazila”. The role will facilitate community awareness and mobilization activities, support engagement with children, parents/guardians, workers, Ostad, community leaders, and other local stakeholders, and supervise non-formal education activities at the field level. The position will also facilitate the functioning of tower-based Child Labour Elimination Committees (CLECs), coordinate stakeholder participation in project activities, and conduct regular field-level monitoring and documentation in line with approved work plans, project guidelines, and organizational policies.
Preferred Job Description/Responsibility
Supervision of Non-Formal Education (NFE) Centres
- Supervise NFE teachers and day-to-day operations of assigned Non-Formal Education Centres, ensuring quality of teaching and safe learning environments.
- Monitor student attendance and follow up on children at risk of dropping out of NFE sessions, coordinating with teachers and families to ensure retention and completion.
- Support teacher coordination meetings and refresher training sessions.
Tower-Based Awareness Campaigns and Community Mobilization
- Support tower-based campaigns to enhance knowledge and increase awareness among factory owners, supervisors and workers on child rights, child labour issues and employer responsibilities.
- Support sensitization meetings with factory owners on legal working hours and safe working conditions for adolescent workers (14-18 years).
- Distribute IEC (information, education, communication) materials on child rights and safeguarding.
- Support broader community mobilization for sensitization, campaigns and awareness activities.
- Lead age-appropriate awareness and sensitization sessions for children, covering the identification of hazardous work, Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), and safe, legally compliant workplaces, as a trained Field Facilitator.
- Mobilize parents, community leaders, and local stakeholders to participate in child protection activities.
- Support birth registration and other child rights promotion initiatives as needed.
Tower-Based Child Labour Elimination Committee (CLEC) Support
- Support meetings with tower management to secure cooperation for the formation and operationalization of Tower-Based CLECs.
- Support monthly advisory meetings with Tower-Based CLECs and guide their routine tower-based monitoring.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Maintain field-level activity records, attendance sheets, and reporting formats.
- Submit regular activity and progress reports to the Project Officer.
- Support data collection for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
