Education:
∎ Bachelor/Honors, Diploma
∎ Bachelor's degree (Hons.) or a minimum 1-year Diploma in Fashion Design, Textile, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years of experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in the garment industry.
∎ Strong understanding of various fabrics, trims, and fashion materials, including their properties, uses, and sourcing.
∎ Must stay updated on world fashion trends, especially in Asian, European, and American markets.
∎ Ability to analyze upcoming fashion trends and translate insights into innovative design concepts.
∎ Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools for creating and presenting original designs.
∎ Proficiency in email communication, web browsing, and online research for fashion trends and inspirations.
∎ Strong ability to work as part of a team, coordinating with merchandisers, buyers, and production teams.
∎ Highly self-driven with a passion for creativity and innovation in fashion design.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Research and analyze global fashion trends (Asian, European, and American markets) to develop innovative designs.
∎ Select and recommend fabrics, trims, and materials based on their properties, usage, and sourcing feasibility.
∎ Create original fashion concepts and design collections, aligning with market trends and buyer preferences.
∎ Develop detailed technical sketches and digital renderings using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design tools.
∎ Conduct trend forecasting and market research to anticipate upcoming styles and consumer preferences.
∎ Collaborate closely with merchandisers, buyers, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and execution.
∎ Maintain effective email communication and web research to stay updated on industry developments and sourcing opportunities.
∎ Work in a team-oriented environment, contributing to creative brainstorming and problem-solving.
∎ Stay self-motivated and continuously innovate to enhance the brand’s design portfolio.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management.
∎ We are looking for a creative and trend-savvy Fashion Designer to join our team in a garment buying house.
