Responsibilities & Context:
Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles to create innovative designs.
Develop original design concepts, sketches, and mood boards.
Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for each design.
Collaborate with production and merchandising teams to ensure design feasibility.
Oversee sample development and make necessary adjustments.
Ensure designs meet brand identity, quality standards, and customer preferences.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers for sourcing materials.
Prepare technical specifications and detailed design documents.
Monitor market trends and competitor products.
Maintain timelines to ensure timely delivery of collections.
Participate in fittings and provide feedback for improvements.
Ensure cost-effectiveness and production efficiency of designs.
