∎ Age 30 to 40 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Good knowledge of Knit fashion trends and understanding of commercial designs for kids, boys & girls / Men & woman.
∎ Managing design process from conception through to final styling.Ability to design/develop ideas which are new as well as production feasible.
∎ Understanding on trend forecasting by research.
∎ Seasonal collection making.
∎ Sourcing fabric, trim and accessories according to trend.
∎ Organizing showroom and products.
∎ Coordinate with team and sample section for development.
∎ Create or visualize an idea and produce a design by hand or using graphics designing tools.
∎ Should be able to think independently, creatively and able to produce new ideas and concepts to create own sketches for product development.
∎ Proper execution of developments keeping the time frame.
∎ Satisfactory knowledge about fabric, trims, materials, laces, print, embroidery etc.
∎ Clear and effective communication and understanding between marketing team & customer.
∎ Should have knowledge on Product Photography & Photo Editing.
∎ Develop new product as per fashion trend of men's, women's, and children's apparel.
∎ Monitor and analyze fashion trends and designs in fabrics, colors and shapes.
∎ Producing Concepts, making sketches by hand or on the computer.
∎ Very good concept on color, fashion, design and trend is expected.
∎ Keep up to date with emerging fashion trends.
∎ Liaising closely with sales, buying and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points.
∎ Understanding design from a technical perspective, i.e. producing patterns and technical specifications for designs.
∎ Developing a pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the creation of these, including fitting, detailing and adaptations.
∎ Ensure safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
∎ Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
