∎ BSc in Engineering / Mechanical/Plastic processing/ Technology.·
∎ Have experience in Injection Moulding, Production Planning, Material planning, and machinery planning, moulding machine Industrial Equipment/machinery (Machine Tools).
∎ Have experience in production with exposure to bearings / industrial / automobile, spare parts, etc.
∎ Good performance in training and developing molding personnel relative to the molding process (Process technicians and molding operators), promoting employee understanding and adherence to safety regulations and the Quality Management System.
∎ Experience area: Plastic Injection knowledge is a MUST.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ · Responsible for the efficient lead of Quality production and achievement of standards with respect to productivity yields and capacity utilization for injection moulding manufacturing.·
∎ Provide leadership in the maintenance of all operational systems and process controls associated with mold processing, mold maintenance, equipment maintenance, and repair. (Documented mold setups, process intervention logs, product dimensional and visual evaluations supporting product requirements, product validations, etc.)·
∎ Monitor and adjust production plans as needed to accommodate changes in demand, inventory levels, and unforeseen circumstances.·
∎ Responsible for assuring the efficient use of materials, machines, molds, auxiliary equipment, and employees.·
∎ Planning and execution of preventive maintenance of Injection molding machines, Tools/ Moulds and assembly equipment, and utilities.·
∎ Perform mold setup and color changes to meet production demands as needed·
∎ Train, and manage production staff, ensuring that they are well-qualified, motivated, and aligned with company objectives.·
∎ Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement among production personnel.·
∎ Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain product quality and consistency.·
∎ Investigate and resolve quality issues, working in collaboration with the quality assurance team.·
∎ Process Optimization: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.·
∎ Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities as necessary.
∎ Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
∎ Promote and enforce safety best practices within the production team. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overages, while minimizing storage costs.
∎ Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain a steady supply of raw materials.
∎ Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs to meet budgetary goals.·
∎ Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost-effective production methods.
∎ Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including production reports, quality data, and incident reports.
∎ Generate regular performance reports for management review.
∎ Exposure to a Factory environment, Labour handling, etc.
