Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare production schedule in collaboration with the Merchandising & Planning department.Ability to handle production processes efficiently with planning with optimum quality.Capable of preparing production plans as per shipment schedules.Demonstrate the ability of efficient utilization of manpower to achieve the hourly/daily production target.Reasonable knowledge of modern machinery and equipment.Should have sound knowledge of production quality in order to run a cohesive operation with quality department.Follow up and make sure the availability of required machines, attachments and manpower on time as per the style feeding plan.Having the ability to understand the importance and the relevance of Industrial Engineering activities.Develop efficient strategies that reduce production costs as and where it is possible. Regular reporting of production status to the senior management to strategize future plans.Should be adequately knowledgeable to be able to do machine layout planning, time & motion study, etc.Develop SOPs and KPIs for each section head /Manager so that there is a month end indication of the standard of the work of all the employees.Supervise and monitoring of day to day work of Marketing & Merchandising team activities and buyer correspondences in relation to production.
