Responsibilities & Context:
Job Description / Responsibility
- A knowledgeable person on fabric, its manufacturing, dyeing, printing, finishing & other relevant processes.
- Ensure proper quality of fabrics (From fabric sourcing to shipment of garments) as per buyer requirements & management instructions.
- Resolve fabric-related all kinds of problems as per buyers' guiding & management instructions.
- Ensure that all test reports of fabric meet buyer technical requirements.
- Need to work on any fabric issues, starting from sourcing, development, sampling, base test, lab-dip/strike-off/handloom, bulk testing,
- Evaluate fabric samples based on color consistency, hand feel, composition, shrinkage, durability, and other relevant properties like appearance, handle and color approval, garment washing, garment dyeing, etc.
