Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering
∎ Must have good knowledge about fabrics processing and dyeing
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Gather comprehensive information on confirmed orders from the platform and Collect lab dips based on style and color specifications from merchandisers and submit them to the lab for testing.
∎ Coordinate timely collection of lab dips from the lab and submit them to the merchandiser for approval.
∎ Facilitate the approval process for lab dips and coordinate with knitting and dyeing teams for bulk shade approval from the buyer.
∎ Monitor the fabric booking status for all confirmed orders using the platform and ensure completion.
∎ Follow up on yarn receiving status and promptly inform management if any yarn arrangements are delayed or unavailable.
∎ Submit weekly sample fabric plans and monthly knitting and dyeing plans to the merchandising GM/AGM for monitoring and tracking.
∎ Ensure that knitting and dyeing programs are launched on schedule and running smoothly according to the plan.
∎ Collaborate with cutting managers and GM/AGM merchandising when changing knitting diameter.
∎ Prepare and submit a realistic TNA (Time and Action) plan focusing on fabric in-house dates.
∎ Discuss and make decisions on process loss with the team, ensuring that received fabrics are sufficient for the order quantity.
∎ Conduct thorough inspections of fabrics using the 4-point system and maintain inspection reports.
∎ Verify that quality fabrics are in-house, free from color shading, wrong GSM, excessive shrinkage, and twisting.
∎ Ensure that fabrics, along with cutting details and inspection reports, are available before delivery from Fariha.
∎ For allover and yarn dyed fabrics, ensure in-house availability at least 15 days prior to sewing start.
