Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Social Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.

  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage.

  • Training or certification on Social Compliance, Sustainability, EHS, or Labor Law will be preferred.

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Assist in implementing sustainability, social compliance, and CSR programs.

  • Support compliance with buyer codes of conduct, labor law, and company policies.

  • Conduct factory floor monitoring related to health, safety, labor standards, and environmental practices.

  • Assist in internal audits, risk assessments, and corrective action plan (CAP) follow-ups.

  • Support buyer, third-party, and internal compliance audits.

  • Maintain sustainability and compliance documentation, records, and reports.

  • Coordinate with HR, Admin, Production, and IE teams for sustainability initiatives.

  • Assist in training sessions on labor law, EHS, code of conduct, and sustainability awareness.

  • Monitor working conditions, welfare facilities, and employee wellbeing issues.

  • Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, energy saving, and water conservation.

  • Assist in maintaining certifications and standards (e.g., RSC, SLCP, BSCI, WRAP, ISO, etc.).

  • Prepare MIS reports and presentations related to sustainability performance.

  • Communicate sustainability requirements to relevant departments.

  • Support grievance mechanism implementation and worker participation activities.

  • Ensure timely closure of non-compliance issues and follow-up actions.
