Job Context:
∎ Soorty Textiles (BD) Ltd is a high quality Denim Garments manufacture in Comilla - EPZ. It is vertical setup of denim garment manufacturing company with Embroidery, Printing Laundry & ETP. We are certified for GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard)/OCS (Organic Content Standard)/LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)/BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)/SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit).
∎ Location: Comilla Export Processing Zone
∎ Reporting Authority: Head of Supply chain
∎ Work Hours : 8-hour work shift,9:00 am-6:00 pm and as per company policy
∎ Saturday to Thursdays
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Procuring quality Product at minimum price for Local purchase specially engineering, chemical (Local), Design & development, production item, merchandising local requirement, Wet & Dry Process.
∎ Analyze all the purchase requisition as well as preparing a purchase plan accordingly.
∎ Sourcing from suppliers by applying company business processes, policy and control, as well go through necessary activities for processing the Purchase Order (PO) to concern Suppliers.
∎ Visit local market for analyzing current market situation as well as to create new supplier.
∎ Follow up concern supplier regarding the order as well as scheduling for transportation accordingly. Coordinate with MCD, END User as well as supplier for handling ordered items & machinery properly.
∎ Follow up entire bill and Process the bill voucher and follow-up until final payment.
∎ Responsible to purchase cash as per the Company policy as well as maintain the cash Account accordingly.
∎ Coordinate with suppliers for the calibration of certain machinery.
∎ Responsible for documentary work as well as update current data for time to time assigned by Higher Authority.
∎ Any other job assigned by HOD.
∎ To prepare KPI & Procurement status timely and submit it to Departmental Head.
