Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc/BA/Masters degree in any discipline
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Material follow up and ensure inhouse on time.
∎ Right material source in right time for specific product.
∎ Follow up with material control department.
∎ Communication with merchandiser department and check their price costing for material.
∎ Proper communication with supplier.
∎ Cross check with merchandising about costing sheet for product.
∎ Maintain TNA and inform line manager accordingly.
∎ Ensure specific requirements for customer/buyer by maintaining quality and ensuring the best price.
∎ Ensure compliance standard of suppliers and do follow up.
∎ Source, Maintain and Develop pool of suppliers for all assigned categories
∎ Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality
∎ Sourcing Product and Supplier locally and globally, exploring market and vendor development.
∎ Manage supplier selection based on price, quality, support, after sales service, capacity, etc., reliability, credibility.
∎ Proper follow up and communication with MCD, Merchandising and production department.
∎ Any other job assigned by the concerned authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good inter-personal & communication skills.
∎ Should have capability on negotiations skills with vendors to arrive at win-win situations
∎ Should have good knowledge on Microsoft office suite especially MS Word, Excel, Power Point
∎ Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali.
Salary: Negotiable
