Additional Requirements:
  • Experience in corporate and retail ticketing will be an advantage.

  • Sound knowledge of IATA ticketing rules and BSP procedures.

  • Airlines ticketing, reservation creating PNR, issuing & reissuing ticket using IATA GDS (Sabre / Galileo / Amadeus).

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors and team members.

  • Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints and complex booking requests with professionalism and empathy.

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to maintain accurate records and ensure error-free bookings.

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively, both for customers and with OTA platform functionality.

  • Should be familiar with Re-Issue, Re-Validation, Refund and Upgradation.

  • Coordination with Embassies, Airlines, Hotels & Service Providers.

  • Should be able to manage clients for Instant Services.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • Good command in written and spoken in both English & Bangla.

  • OTA based experience will be preferred.

  • Customer-focused mindset with sales orientation.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle high booking volumes.

  • Ability to work in shifts, weekends or public holidays if required.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in ticketing.



Responsibilities & Context:

EC Aviation Limited (ECAL), established in 2015 under the brand `FLY EC`, offers a range of travel services, including air tickets, tour packages, visa consultancy etc. With IATA accreditation, ECAL caters to both domestic and international markets. The company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, enhance customer experience, and improve service delivery and efficiency, with a focus on managing digital platforms.

Job Context:

To manage airline ticket sales and reservations using GDS platforms while delivering excellent customer service, ensuring accurate ticketing, fare construction, and compliance with IATA and airline regulations to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Reservation Operations

  • Handle domestic and international air ticket reservations through GDS systems (Galileo/ Sabre/ Amadeus).

  • Issue, reissue, refund, cancel and revalidate airline tickets in compliance with airline and IATA rules.

  • Provide competitive fare quotations, routings, and travel options to customers and corporate clients.

  • Perform fare construction, pricing, and ticketing in accordance with airline tariffs and policies.

  • Manage group bookings and special fare requests when required.

  • Need to visit corporate clients & bring business in favor of company.

Customer Service & Sales Support

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email and walk-in.

  • Advise clients on airline rules, baggage policies, fare conditions and travel requirements.

  • Support sales initiatives to meet individual and team sales targets.

  • Maintain long-term relationships with corporate and retail clients.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure strict compliance with IATA BSP, airline policies, and ticketing procedures.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate records for sales reports, refunds, ADM/ACM handling, and BSP reconciliation.

  • Coordinate with airlines and consolidators regarding fare disputes, schedule changes, and operational issues.

Coordination & Reporting

  • Liaise with internal departments (accounts, operations) for invoicing and collections.

  • Maintain daily sales, booking, and ticketing reports.

  • Monitor airline updates, fare rules, and industry changes to ensure accuracy.
