Responsibilities & Context:
Identify, evaluate, and develop local and international fabric suppliers.
Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors and negotiate favorable prices, quality standards, and delivery terms.
Source fabrics according to buyer requirements, product specifications, and seasonal trends.
Collect fabric quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative cost analyses.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and lead times to achieve cost efficiency.
Ensure fabric quality, color, construction, GSM, and performance meet customer requirements.
Keep updated on fabric market trends, new materials, pricing fluctuations, and sourcing opportunities.
Prepare sourcing reports, supplier databases, and procurement records
