Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in CSE/ Computer Engineering/ IT/ Software Engineering or MBA in MIS
∎ Skills Required: Data Analysis, Data Migration, Linux server, MySQL database, Oracle Database, Windows Server
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Manufacturing (FMCG), multinational company, Software
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create and maintain all database servers required for development, testing, and production usage
∎ Create storage database structures with high-level security features
∎ Create autonomous database backups
∎ Establish Oracle RDBMS Architecture and technologies such as RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, Golden Gate, Real Application Testing, and partitioning features
∎ Write SQL Query, scripts, functions for database system with Oracle
∎ Proactively monitor the database environment and make changes to data structures, SQL, application logic, and the DBMS subsystem to optimize performance
∎ Refine and automate regular processes, resolve and track issues, and document changes
∎ Ensure database backups are being done as scheduled and recover databases as needed
∎ Use high speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data
∎ Maintain and periodically test the backup/recovery strategy by refreshing the DEV, TEST, and TRAIN Environments
∎ Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users
∎ Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
∎ Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
∎ Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required
∎ Install/configure databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.), and apply service and feature packs (On-Premises and cloud platform like AWS, Azure)
∎ Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues, etc., and detect and troubleshoot Oracle Server / Oracle-related CPU, memory, etc. I/O, disk space, and other resource contention problems
∎ Upgrade databases to newer versions and migrate databases from MySQL, Oracle vice versa
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3+ years working as an Oracle Database Administrator, or in a related role.
∎ Solid understanding of Database, knowledge about Real Application Cluster (RAC) and Database backup is a must.
∎ Working knowledge of Oracle RDBMS Architecture and HA technologies such as Always ON Availability Group, Replication, Mirroring, Log Shipping
∎ Working experience in Linux platform is a must.
∎ Ability to work with a team in an agile environment- you can address bugs with QA, plan schemas with engineering, and respond quickly to other business needs
∎ Knowledge and know-how to troubleshoot potential issues, and experience with best practices around database operations
∎ Certification in Linux and Oracle Database will be a plus
