Responsibilities & Context:
  • Manage and oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Lead and supervise the warehouse/store team for effective management of store operations, including receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, and transfer of items.

  • Monitor and manage store inventory levels, ensuring proper tracking, receiving, storage, and movement of goods.

  • Conduct regular stock checks, identify slow-moving items, and implement strategies to optimize inventory turnover.

  • Implement security measures to prevent theft, loss, or damage to store property and inventory.

  • Train staff on loss prevention procedures and address any security concerns promptly.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of goods, and adherence to fire safety protocols and evacuation procedures.

  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the store environment.

  • Coordinate with maintenance and repair services as needed to ensure the store`s operational efficiency.

  • Follow up on Purchase Orders, Inventory, and ensure all in-house activities are properly managed.

  • Ensure timely supply and distribution of materials as per production requirements.

  • Oversee documentation, issuing, receipts, warehousing, inventory, and software entries for raw materials, finished goods, and machinery.

  • Ensure overall management of requisition, receiving, and issuing activities in coordination with production requirements and stock availability.

  • Confirm that receiving is done upon quality inspection and verify the quantity against the delivery challan.

  • Ensure that goods are issued only against proper demands (SRS) accurately and on time.

  • Issue Material Purchase Requisitions (MPR) in a timely manner after confirming stock position and verifying actual requirements.

  • Coordinate with production management to provide effective support for achieving production targets.

  • Keep all documents up-to-date in Software and ensure accurate inspection and physical inventory.

  • Arrange the disposal of waste goods as per management policy.

  • Lead safety, quality, and compliance activities in the workplace to ensure zero non-compliance.

  • Implement cost reduction measures by avoiding all kinds of wastage.

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management.
