Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc & M.Sc in Environmental Science from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To visit in all sections including production and other department, and find out different non-conformity issues.
∎ To share the collected issues (daily floor visit) with related dept. and keep suggestions for removing the non-conformities.
∎ To follow-up and monitoring the corrective action against non-conforming.
∎ Trying to set up proper compliance factor in the plant and implementing gradually as direct supervision of the Line Manager.
∎ To monitor environmental legal requirements and environmental health and safety (EHS).
∎ To monitor the implementation of Environmental Sustainability programs and document progress at each stage and coordinate with other departments for the implementation of different environmental sustainability initiatives.
∎ Identification of significant environmental aspects & impacts.
∎ To monitor the environmental health and safety (EHS) of the factory and community and report on discrepancies and suggestions for improvement
∎ To Follow RSL/MRSL and maintain strictly. Ensure original SDS and Labeling as per GHS.
∎ To ensure proper chemical storage, labeling, secondary containment, chemical compatibility, appropriate PPE, and safe use.
∎ To regular monitoring of energy consumption, GHG emissions, and air emissions.
∎ To maintain data and documentation on environmental sustainability issues.
∎ To provide awareness training to workers and management on Environmental Management System of the company.
∎ To prepare monthly training agenda and submitted to HR. department.
∎ To collect and analyze monthly data for resource consumption and production including water, energy, raw materials, waste, GHG emissions, etc., establish related key performance indicators (KPIs).
∎ Setting objectives and strategies for continual environmental performance improvement.
∎ Identifying hazards, exposures, effects, and risks for each and every chemical and ensure a control approach.
∎ To provide several updated report/information that is assigned by Line Manager.
∎ To collect waste delivery/disposal data from specific section and kept as proper documentation.
∎ Engaging oneself to different types of development related issues assigned by Line Manager.
∎ Proper management of produced sludge and ensure discharge of sludge as per regulation.
∎ To maintain waste Inventory and manage the wastage as per national legislation and buyers Code of Conduct. Ensure proper segregation of all kinds of wastes according to hazards.
∎ To maintain all legal and other environmental requirements of DBL Ceramics Ltd. and perform monthly internal audits to monitor environmental compliance.
∎ To keep oneself and department updated on any emerging local and international environmental regulations.
∎ To contribute proactively for the Sustainability Report of DBL Ceramics Ltd.
∎ To participate/attend in various workshop/seminar/training program.
∎ To lead all external and third-party audits focusing on environmental compliance of the factory and implement corrective action plans (CAPs).
∎ To arrange different tests from certified testing organizations including SGS, Bureau Veritas, ITS, according to legal and other requirements.
∎ To maintain all environmental documentations and certifications including ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Sound Knowledge and practical experience on Environmental Laws and Regulations.
∎ At least 3 years of practical experience on EMS in any large Ceramics factories
∎ Excellent communication in both written & speaking in English.
∎ Conversant with MS-Office.
∎ Willing to stay beside factory at own accord.
