• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a relevant discipline

• 5 to 7 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Shipping, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Freight forwarding, Transport Service, Transportation, Port Service, Inventory/Warehouse, Supply Chain

• At least 5 to 7 years of relevant procurement experience

• Prior experience in a logistics, transportation, or supply chain company will be preferred

• Hands-on experience in equipment purchasing is highly desirable

Additional Requirements

• Strong negotiation and communication skills

• Good understanding of procurement processes and documentation

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement systems

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple procurement activities

We are looking for young, energetic, dynamic, self-motivated and proactive person to perform the role of a Executive (Logistics & Equipment)- for Procurement Department. The incumbent will have to play the role in the dynamic ICD/OFF Dock Industry.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for logistics-related equipment, spare parts, and operational materials

• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for vehicles, handling equipment, machinery, containers, and related items

• Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, and develop comparative statements

• Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions with suppliers

• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery as per operational requirements

• Coordinate with operations, technical, and finance teams for specification and procurement planning

• Maintain procurement documentation and vendor records

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure quality, cost, and compliance standards

• Support cost control, budgeting, and audit requirements
