Key Qualifications & Skills
Excellent command of Bangla, including professional news writing, editing, proofreading, and headline development.
Strong editorial judgment, news sense, fact-checking skills, and commitment to unbiased journalism.
Proven ability to supervise newsroom operations, assign stories, and maintain publication standards.
Strong understanding of digital journalism, news websites, online publishing, and content management systems (CMS).
Experience developing editorial calendars, breaking news coverage plans, and content strategies.
Knowledge of Facebook, YouTube, and other digital platforms for distributing news and engaging audiences.
Ability to identify misinformation, verify sources, and ensure factual accuracy before publication.
Understanding of media ethics, copyright regulations, content licensing, and responsible reporting.
Strong leadership, communication, team coordination, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple news assignments.
Familiarity with digital analytics, audience growth, and emerging media technologies will be an advantage.
Good English proficiency and the ability to review international news sources will be preferred.
