Educational Requirements:
B.Sc / Diploma in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Polymer Science / equivalent.
Basic knowledge of rubber compound testing.
Familiarity with lab equipment
Good documentation and reporting skills.
Willing to learn and grow in the Tyre/Rubber industry.
Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct laboratory testing of raw materials and finished products (rubber, tread, tube, bonding gum, etc.) in line with industry standards.
Perform physical, chemical, and analytical tests to support production and R&D activities.
Assist in quality control of compounds and ensure consistency in formulation.
Maintain lab records, test reports, calibration logs, and testing instruments.
Coordinate with production and QA teams to resolve quality issues.
Follow safety, hygiene, and environmental standards in laboratory operations.
Report deviations or non-conformities to the supervisor and take corrective actions.
