Responsibilities & Context:
Raise requisitions for surgical items and drugs based on consumption patterns and Re-order Level (ROL).
Issue items to the Operation Theater as per the charge sheet and replenish stock accordingly.
Receive items in the store and arrange them on shelves according to item types and urgency.
Review and verify surgical and anesthesia charge sheets.
Maintain and control overall stock within the store, including monitoring of near-expiry, expired, and non-moving items.
Ensure full compliance with security, safety, temperature control, and cleanliness standards.
Optimize store space and ensure regular physical stock counting.
Prepare monthly inventory reports and maintain proper record-keeping, documentation, and communication.
Support and assist the Line Manager with special tasks, new projects, documentation, communication, and general handling as required.
